About the position

Perido is seeking a Financial Controller for an assignment with our client, an established player in system integration and digital transformation, with offices in Solna. Here, you will be part of a competent and engaged finance team that works closely with the business and collectively takes responsibility for the entire financial flow – from accounting to advanced financial analysis. There is an opportunity for some remote work.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Financial Controller, you will work with financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting, and actively contribute to developing and streamlining working methods and processes. You will serve as an important link between legal and operational monitoring and collaborate closely with several functions within the organization.

Examples of tasks:

• Monthly closing and financial reporting
• Forecasting of the balance sheet and monitoring of working capital
• Analysis and monitoring of, for example, inventory, currency, personnel costs, and projects
• Development and improvement of financial processes and working methods
• Support to the business through data-driven analysis and recommendations
• Guidance and support to more junior colleagues

The role has a clear focus on analysis and does not involve ongoing bookkeeping beyond work related to the closing process.

Your qualities

We are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, and confident in their skills. You have good communication skills and thrive in a role with many points of contact. Furthermore, you are proactive and have a strong drive to improve and develop both processes and working methods.

You are motivated by analyzing data, identifying patterns, and transforming insights into concrete actions that create business value.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in controlling and analysis work
• Very good knowledge of accounting (K3 and IFRS)
• Experience with closing processes and financial reporting
• Advanced skills in Excel
• Strong system proficiency and interest in system development
• Experience in driving and developing processes
• Fluent in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience from the IT or technology industry
• Experience with business systems such as Visma Business, Rillion, or SAP Group Reporting (programs used)

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 6 months via Perido, with the ambition to be permanently hired by the client thereafter. Start immediately.
